I tried Googling to see if I found anybody else with similar problems but only found one related issue that someone said installing the 32-bit Windows version may fix this problem. Particularly noticeable is when I select black the color on my object turned out grey. I soon noticed that when I assign a color to an object the color turned out lighter than the color I picked. Yesterday I installed the 64-bit Windows version of Inkscape on my PC running Windows 10 and today I tried making a drawing with the tool. That's the closer I got to the solution, but I can't believe it.I am a new user of Inkscape. (Please don't tell me to create a customized swatches palette at GIMP in this or that folder. But how can I do such a simple thing at Inkscape? How can I get the swatches palette empty for MY swatches? Or it's not the way I should work with it? FreeHand by dragging the color from wherever you find it, the sketch or the color palette, and dropping it to the swatches palette. I find this a very natural way to work, which you can practice at i.e. Ok, your little pink pig looks amazing and you would just like to have the color collected for future use in this file or in any other to feel free to try new colors without loosing the 'amazing' one or just to watch your color harmony in an abstract way. Then you set a color in the color palette (being CMYK, RGB, etc) to be applied to an object. Supposedly, you start a new document with an (almost) empty swatches palette (that doesn't happen at Inkscape, it's full of tints).
The manual starts by saying how to apply a color from the palette, but the instructions on loading colors to it never come. My question is how to manage the swatches palette to show ONLY the reduced amount of colors used in a certain sketch.
